I N G R E D I E N T S 2 cups strips of cooked Norbest Turkey Breast
1 1/2 cups turkey broth
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 (16 ounce) package frozen mixed broccoli, carrots, water chestnuts and red peppers
1 (4 ounce) package uncooked angel hair pasta or vermicelli, broken up (1 1/2 cups)
2 teaspoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons water
D I R E C T I O N S In large skillet, combine turkey, turkey broth, sugar, ginger, garlic powder and vegetables. Bring to a boil. Stir in pasta. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 5-8 minutes or until pasta is tender. In small bowl, combine cornstarch and water; blend until smooth. Stir into hot mixture in skillet. Cook 1 minute or until thickened, stirring constantly. If desired, serve with soy sauce.
Microwave directions: In 3-quart microwave-safe casserole, combine turkey, turkey broth, sugar, ginger garlic powder and vegetables; cover tightly. Microwave on HIGH for 6-7 minutes or until mixture comes to a boil, stirring once halfway through cooking. Stir in pasta; cover tightly. Microwave on HIGH for 6-7 minutes or until pasta is tender. In small bowl, combine cornstarch and water; blend until smooth. Stir into hot mixture in casserole. Microwave on HIGH for 1-2 minutes or until thickened, stirring once during cooking.
