Crock Pot Turkey Breast

Serves 8
1 frozen bone-in turkey breast 4-6 lbs
1 cup turkey broth, chicken broth, or water
salt and pepper to taste
OPTIONAL:
1 can cranberry sauce (15 oz)
OR
1 envelope onion soup mix
OR
1 medium onion and 1 tsp garlic powder

Place the frozen turkey breast in the crockpot. (If it is too large, you can partially thaw it then split it in halves to fit.) Put all the ingredients you’ve selected in the crock pot. Cook on high for two hours, then reduce to low for 5-8 hours or until a thermometer in the deepest part of the breast registers 170 degrees F. If the turkey breast is thawed prior to cooking, reduce the time on low to 4-6 hours.

Try experimenting with chunks of carrots, potatoes, and onions placed around the turkey.
