West Liberty Foods, L.L.C. of West Liberty, Iowa and Norbest, Inc., based in Midvale, Utah, joined forces in an alliance of their sales and marketing functions on May 1, 2006. By establishing this alliance between the two companies, it has allowed the ability to provide excellent products and services for all collective customers. West Liberty Foods, L.L.C. is a leading co-packer, foodservice supplier, and private label manufacturer of sliced processed meat and poultry products. West Liberty Foods, L.L.C. owns and operates four state-of-the-art processed meat plants, three within the state of Iowa and the newest in Tremonton, Utah. The Iowa Turkey Growers Cooperative (ITGC) is the majority owner of West Liberty Foods, L.L.C. ITGC was formed in 1997 by 47 turkey growers.
