It’s Easter time. Sugary Peeps are getting stale on your counter and various bowls full of jelly beans and egg-shaped chocolate treats are hidden around your house. Are there any better Easter desserts?

If you’re tired of the processed colored candies, try something different this year.  A carrot cake may hit the spot, while keeping with the holiday theme. The combination of moist cake and light frosting is just enough to satisfy your sweet tooth while not instigating a trip to the dentist’s office. Plus, if you tell your children it has vegetables in it, you may get to keep the whole thing to yourself. We won’t tell.
