No holiday table would be complete without candied yams. Well, according to some. You know who you are. So slather what was once considered a vegetable with butter, sugar, and marshmallows. It's the holidays. You deserve this.



  • 1 (29oz) can sweet potatoes/yams
  • 1/4 C. butter, chopped into pieces
  • 1/2 C. brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 C. mini marshmallows





  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. Place sweet potatoes in a medium baking dish. Distribute butter pieces evenly over the sweet potatoes. Sprinkle with brown sugar. Layer with miniature marshmallows.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven 25 minutes, or until sweet potatoes are tender and marshmallows have melted.
