Perfect winter salad for a holiday or weeknight dinner.
1) Wash and drain greens. Place in large salad bowl lined with paper towels. Add nuts and cheese. Cover with another paper towel and refrigerate to crisp greens.
2) Combine oils, vinegars, and salad dressing mix in covered container and shake well.
3) Just before serving, remove paper towels from salad bowl. Cut pears in half and remove cores. Cut into bite-size pieces. Add to salad. Toss with just enough dressing to coat. Add more walnuts and blue cheese if desired.
To make this salad a meal just add cooked turkey breast meat.
